The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has rolled out a new program to provide laptops to blind and visually impaired students in the province. This move aims to help these students access digital tools for their studies.
Eligible students can now apply online. The program covers those enrolled in approved colleges, universities, or madrasas. Applicants need to live permanently in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and hold a valid disability certificate from the Social Welfare Department.
Applications go through an online form on the department’s management information system. Laptops will go out based on merit, depending on the budget available. Officials plan to prioritize students who show strong skills and qualifications.
