Good News for Margalla Enclave Owners: Possession in February

Margalla Enclave Plot Possession Set for February

Islamabad – Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi visited the Margalla Enclave site to check on development progress and announced that plot possession for allottees will begin in February.

The project is a joint effort between the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Defence Housing Authority (DHA). It covers around 10,000 kanals of land in a prime spot near the Margalla Hills, with plots available in sizes of 5 marla, 10 marla, and 1 kanal.

During his on-site review, the minister pushed for faster work to meet deadlines. Officials explained that recent heavy rains slowed things down, but extra workers have been brought in to catch up.

Key Directives from the Visit

Minister Naqvi stressed using every available resource to finish the project on time. He directed the construction of a new access road to cut travel time from the Prime Minister’s House to just five minutes. He also ordered quick removal of any encroachments along the approach routes.

Project officials, including CDA Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa and Project Director Brigadier Amin Chaudhry, gave detailed briefings on current work stages.

The minister pointed out the project’s strong appeal due to its location and planned modern features, such as a lake and quality infrastructure.

Recent reports from 2025 indicated targets of 50% completion by August 14, 2025, and full completion by December 31, 2025, before possession handover. The February timeline aligns as the start of handover following that completion.
