OnePlus is reportedly working on a new high-performance smartphone that could feature an impressive 9,000mAh battery, according to fresh leaks from reliable sources. This comes right after the company launched the Turbo 6 and Turbo 6V models in China on January 8, 2026, showing OnePlus continues to push battery limits in its lineup.

The device, believed to be the OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra, is currently in the engineering prototype stage. Tipster Digital Chat Station shared details on Weibo, pointing to a MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset powering the phone. This flagship processor would deliver strong performance for demanding tasks like gaming and multitasking.

Key Leaked Specifications

The prototype includes:

  • A flat 6.78-inch LTPS OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate for smooth scrolling and gameplay.
  • Large rounded corners on the screen.
  • A 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner under the display for quick and secure unlocking.

The battery stands out as a major highlight. Early testing shows a capacity starting around 8,000mAh, with internal goals to reach the 9,000mAh range. OnePlus appears to be adding custom performance optimizations and unique features to set this model apart from others in the Ace series.

This follows the recent trend where OnePlus has introduced large batteries in devices like the Turbo 6 series (which also pack 9,000mAh cells). The company seems focused on longer usage times without increasing device thickness too much.

More information, including official confirmation, launch timing, and full specifications, is expected soon as testing continues.
