Islamabad Traffic Police Unveils Mobile Van Schedule for Next Week
Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has released a detailed schedule for its mobile facilitation vans, set to serve residents across the city from September 1 to 6, 2025. These vans will offer essential services like driving license issuance and traffic assistance right at community locations.
Weekly Schedule and Locations
The ITP has deployed two vans—GAG-709 and GAC-656—to cover key areas daily from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with adjusted hours on Saturday. The initiative aims to save residents the hassle of visiting police offices. Here’s where the vans will be:
- Monday, September 1:
- GAG-709 at DHA Phase-II, Gate No 4
- GAC-656 at R-Block, Pak Secretariat
- Tuesday, September 2:
- GAG-709 at E-9 PAF Complex
- GAC-656 at G-9 Awami Trade Center
- Wednesday, September 3:
- GAG-709 at Media Town, press club
- GAC-656 at I-10 Markaz
- Thursday, September 4:
- GAG-709 at F-10 Markaz, near D-Watson
- GAC-656 at D-12 Markaz
- Friday, September 5:
- GAG-709 at B-17 Multi Garden
- GAC-656 at District Administration Office, G-11
- Saturday, September 6:
- GAG-709 at G-11 Near Askari Bank (8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)
- GAC-656 at Bhara Kahu (8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.)

The mobile vans will provide driving licenses, learner permits, challan payments, and traffic guidance. This move reflects ITP’s commitment to bringing services directly to the public, reducing wait times and travel burdens.
A spokesperson highlighted the effort: “We want to make life easier for Islamabad residents by offering these services at their doorstep.”

The vans will operate under strict supervision, ensuring smooth service delivery. Residents are encouraged to bring necessary documents, such as CNIC and proof of address, for quick processing. With today being August 31, 2025, the schedule kicks off tomorrow, giving people time to plan their visits.
