Islamabad Traffic Police Launches Online E-Learners Permit for Easy Access

Islamabad residents now have a quicker way to start their driving journey. The Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) has rolled out the Online E-Learners Permit service. This digital option lets people apply and get their permit right from home, without long waits at offices.

The launch came on September 26, 2025, as part of ITP’s push for user-friendly changes. Chief Traffic Officer Captain (R) Hamza Humayun shared the news, noting it fits with ongoing efforts to help the public.

How the Online Service Works

The process is straightforward. Applicants visit the ITP website or app. They fill out basic details, upload documents like ID and photos, and pay any fees online. Approval comes fast, often in days.

No need for in-person visits unless for final checks. This cuts hassle for busy folks, students, and newcomers.

ITP says the goal is to build safe drivers step by step. The permit teaches road rules before full tests.
