Hyundai Palisade arrives in Pakistan today

Hyundai Nishat Motors has confirmed that it will reveal the official price and booking details for the Palisade SUV today, February 23, 2026. This marks the formal entry of Hyundai’s flagship luxury seven-seater into the Pakistani market, with local assembly making it a significant step for the country’s auto industry.

The announcement comes after weeks of buildup, with the company sharing updates on social media and through press releases. Pakistan will be the first nation outside South Korea to assemble the current-generation Palisade using Completely Knocked Down (CKD) kits. In most other markets, the model arrives fully built as an import.

Key Features of the Hyundai Palisade in Pakistan

The Palisade stands out as Hyundai’s top-tier SUV here, powered by a 2.5-liter turbo hybrid engine that produces 329 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque. It offers strong performance combined with better fuel efficiency than traditional setups.

Inside, the focus remains on comfort across three rows:

  • Nappa leather seats throughout
  • Power-adjustable seating in all rows
  • Bose premium audio with 14 speakers
  • Tri-zone climate control
  • Soundproof glass for quieter cabin
  • Dual panoramic sunroofs covering front to rear
  • 21-inch alloy wheels as standard
  • Adaptive suspension that adjusts to load

The SUV provides genuine space for seven adults, including captain’s chairs in the middle row and a usable third row. At launch, it will have the longest wheelbase among large SUVs available in Pakistan, out-sizing models like the Toyota Fortuner and GWM Tank 500.

Market Position and Expectations

As the largest and most premium SUV from Hyundai in Pakistan, the Palisade targets buyers looking for luxury and family-friendly space. It will compete directly in the high-end segment, where the GWM Tank 500 hybrid sits around Rs. 2.05 crore.

Industry sources expect the locally assembled Palisade to come in at a competitive level against rivals, though the exact ex-factory price remains under wraps until today’s event. Bookings will open soon after the announcement, with some reports noting an earlier start due to strong early interest. Vehicle displays are planned for June 2026, followed by customer deliveries from August.
