Islamabad’s Capital Development Authority (CDA) has unveiled the “CDA Mobile App,” a new tool integrating metro and feeder electric bus routes with Google Maps, making public transport easier for residents and visitors.
App Enhances Travel Experience
On August 24, 2025, the CDA introduced its official mobile application to provide real-time information on Islamabad’s eco-friendly electric bus services. The app aims to simplify journey planning and improve access to modern, air-conditioned public transport across the city.

Randhawa emphasized promoting the app to ensure residents can easily access bus information. He urged officials to raise awareness about routes and stops, enabling users to plan trips from home. The CDA aims to align services with global standards, selecting high-demand routes and expanding feeder bus operations. A new depot at Zero Point is also nearing completion to support citywide coverage.
